Where the civilizational journey begins

A structured, immersive residential programme held every summer at Japadakatte on the banks of the Cauvery since 1995 — without a single break. Over 21–24 days, boys aged 8–15 enter a living rhythm of traditional learning: Veda Pāṭha and Agnikārya; Prātaḥsmaraṇa and Gāyatrī recitation; Sanskrit and śāstric foundations; and Purāṇa Kathā and other narratives that bring the tradition alive, guided by accomplished scholars and practitioners. Character is not taught here — it is formed.

Free, live, online Sanskrit stotra classes for children aged 2–10 — in cohorts of 10–12, twice a week. Rooted in the stotras of Adi Shankaracharya, the three-year curriculum runs from Nitya Prarthana shlokas through to Soundarya Lahari. Active in India, UK, USA, Middle East, Europe, Singapore, and beyond.

The Light of Discernment

Inspired by Adi Shankaracharya's Prashnottara Ratna Mālika — a timeless dialogue of 175 questions spanning the journey of human life — Vivekadeepini has emerged as a transformative values education initiative. The program has reached over 1,000 schools across Karnataka, trained 800+ teachers, and inspired more than one lakh students, culminating in the Mahasamarpane at Bengaluru's Palace Grounds. Now translated into 10 Indian languages and formally recognised by the Government of Karnataka, Vivekadeepini continues to carry the wisdom of Adi Shankaracharya to new generations.

The light of discernment — for the college mind

A program of philosophical inquiry rooted in Adi Shankaracharya's Sri Dakshinamurthy Ashtaka, guiding participants through the profound insights of the text while connecting Advaita Vedanta with contemporary ideas about the mind, perception, learning, and human experience. Delivered through experiential learning, live demonstrations, reflective dialogue, and collaborative exploration rather than conventional lectures, the program encourages participants to investigate timeless Vedantic ideas through observation, critical inquiry, and lived experience. Aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the program is offered free of cost to colleges across India. Its flagship exhibition, Dakshinaasya Darshini, translates these same Vedantic themes into hands-on science, AI, and guided-contemplation exhibits — built by student teams over a nine-month Vedanta Makethon.
